It’s been over a year since Justice dropped “Cross,” which I view as a 2001-esque monolith that redefined the future of (hipster) music. Sure, on the surface they just build upon the formula already layed down by their fellow countrymen Daft Punk. But there’s something about the level of heavy-metal, borderline-blasphemous, apocalyptic tension that they bring to the table that, to me, “justifies” (zing!) the whole endeavor. That and the wave of mass hysteria and hedonism that seems to follow them everywhere they go.

And that is exactly what this DVD sets out to document, if the trailer is any indication. I don’t know about you, but watching a bunch of sweaty ravers go absolutely bat-shit with “Phantom” blasting and a strobe lights going off everywhere sounds like an evening well spent. But that’s not all! You also get: conversations with crazy-rapping-bums on the street, justice shooting guns at a firing range, puking, hotel parties, cops tackling people, and apparently severe hand injuries. Basically it looks like something out of VICE. Apparently this will be out on December 9th. Ask Santa ’bout it!
