The staff over at The Fader are arguing whether or not this song from Restless People sounds like Operation Ivy, but when I listen to it all I hear is The Tough Alliance. It’s always such a strange experience when a band that sounds like absolutely nothing you’ve ever heard starts generating sound-alikes for the first time. I don’t mean that as a put down – I think if you’re looking for influences, The Tough Alliance are a great place to go, and Restless People do it right. See what you think.
