Yo. Dem dudes over at RCRD LBL got the new cut from Amanda Blank, “Make It Take It.” Can’t wait for her to finally drop that debut album. My corpora cavernosa is becoming engorged with venous blood just thinking about it. Here’s the link to stream and download.

Wavves first music video came out last week. It’s for the song “No Hope Kids” off Wavves sophomore album Wavvves. It pretty much encapsulates the Wavves ethos: fun, weed, partying, weed, loud, weed.

Check out the new video for Deerhoof’s “My Purple Past” from the album Offend Maggie that came out last year. It’s directed by Asha Schechter and is pretty fucking cool. Though I think she may have stolen the idea from my weed-adled mind.

You probably know by now that Discovery is my favorite band (can you call it a band?) right now, and I’ve been making lofty predictions about their future impact on indie pop. Well, they’ve created a nice little widget from which you can stream a few tracks off their upcoming debut, so I thought I should share that for you in the interest of spreading the gospel of Discovery.
Sorry I haven’t posted in so long. I’ve been working on some top-secret KillerPOP related stuff that I can’t tell you about but is pretty neat. How do you like that?

Animal Collective’s new video for “Summertime Clothes” is here! If you remember their performance on Letterman, director Danny Perez seems to have expanded upon the idea with the addition of dancers in plastic bubbles and ice sculptures. Brilliantly spooky.

Enjoy our recent release of Alligator Indian’s “9241 Solid St.” single, but left with an empty feeling that only a vocal and instrumental track could fill? Well, I just packaged up the original song plus the instrumental and vocals only tracks for your remixing pleasure. You’re welcome! Just make sure to share any experiments with us.

Need I say more? You probably saw this on every other blog in the world, but here it is on KillerPOP: Lil’ Boots is streaming her debut LP, Hands, on her myspace. The little racehorse that the entire blogosphere has placed their bets on is about to bust out the gate: what happens next?

Did you like Beyonce’s B-Day? Or as TheFader likes to call it “Beyonce’s good album” (hey, it’s true). Well, apparently this dude Rich Harrison was responsible for that crazy, aggressive R&B sound, and he’s got a new treat for you. If T-Pain has Sofia Fresh and The-Dream has Electrik Red (and Prince had Apollonia 6), by golly, Rich had to have his own pet girl group – and now he does. This is the only thing I’ve heard from Rich Girl (oh now I get it), but it sounds like everything that made B-Day a lot of fun is present here (minus Beyonce herself). This continues to be a good year for R&B.
